Placed where they actually are.
Your child is tested in each subject and placed where they actually are — not where their birthday says they should be. They set their own daily goals, work at their own desk, and can't move forward until they've mastered the material at 80% or better. A student who is ahead in math isn't held back. A student who needs another two weeks on fractions gets another two weeks. Nobody gets left behind and nobody gets bored.
Diagnostic placement
Every new student is tested subject by subject. A child can be in one level for math and another for reading — placement follows ability, not age.
What a PACE is
A PACE is a bite-sized workbook — twelve per level in each subject — with built-in Checkups, a Self Test, and a final PACE Test before the next one begins.
Mastery at 80%
Nobody advances until they have shown 80% mastery. If that takes another two weeks, they get another two weeks.
A student's own daily goals
Students set goals each morning at their own desk, work through their PACEs, score their own work under supervision, and sit a test only when they are ready for it. A daily interactive lecture and small-group instruction fill in what individual work cannot.
Character and Scripture
Character traits and Scripture memory run alongside academics all year. Chapel is weekly and Bible is integrated into the curriculum rather than bolted onto it.
K through 12, with electives
We run the full range: the ABCs with Ace and Christi reading program at K-4 and K-5, elementary and middle school, and high school with three diploma tracks. Enrichment includes music, drama, art, home economics, computer technology, PE, STEM, and woodworking.
